Entry level experience.
Although I am an entry-level candidate, I continue to practice my skills. I would like to have the opportunity to share my "experience" with you, although I don't fit the typical mold of a recent graduate or experienced transcriptionist.
College Education
I earned a B.S. in Business Administration in May 1992 from Mary Washington College (now the University of Mary Washington) in Fredericksburg, VA.
Attended Technical School
I took a home study course through Professional Career Development Institute. I earned my diploma in February 2001. Since July 2001, I have participated in a mentoring program through AMA TransAm, a Florida-based nationwide transcription company.
Work History, Qualifications, Awards
May 2003-May 2005 -- Medical Records at Maitland Family Practice. Scanned medical documents and reports from physicians and hospitals into electronic medical record. Sent out copies of medical records to attorneys and insurance companies.

July 2001-present -- Protegee in a mentoring program at AMA TransAm. Continued practice with medical dictations.

August 1994-September 1997 -- Customer Representative at Credit Data Services (Florida affiliate of Experian). Data entry. Necessary skills included attention to detail to avoid costly errors.

I have two children born in 1997 and 1998 who are now in school. This is the reason behind my sporadic work history. I am now in a position to be a solid work at home employee.
