Where do I find MTJobs? - Resources FAQs

Since I want to get started as an MT, I'm wondering what's the best way to find MTJobs. Should I be looking at medical transcription schools that have good track records of finding jobs for MT's? Should I be posting my MT resume on job boards? Should I be networking with others who are already experienced MT's?

MTJobs: Where to find Transcription Employment

The answers to your MTJob questions are yes, yes and yes.

Many medical transcription training courses are excellent at finding MTjobs for their new graduates. Most of these schools can help find entry level medical transcription jobs for the motivated graduate.

MT job boards can also be another good option. Along with posting your resume here at Transcription Matters, you'll find good posting options at MTJobs.com and MT Star.

Networking is another great option to find either a medical transcription position or legal transcription employment. If you already know people who perform medical or legal transcription work at home, touch base with them first. If you don't know anybody with at home transcription jobs, start your networking with the various transcription forums like the one at Transcription Matters.
